Job Description:

Our company is in need of a talented Content Writer to create compelling blog posts, white papers, product descriptions, social media content and web copy. We’re looking for someone who will help us expand our digital footprint and drive more value through online content.

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of producing pieces that increase engagement and drive leads. This position requires a high level of creativity, as well as the ability to use data-driven insights to write better material.

The successful candidate should also be detail-oriented and committed to meeting tight deadlines. Preference will be given to those with a strong writing portfolio and relevant work experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create printable and digital content that provides information or showcases the products or services offered
  • Develop content that accurately reflects company ideals
  • Regularly produce various content types, including email, social media posts, blogs and white papers
  • Write technical and business documentation on company products and services.
  • Develop engaging/search friendly content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media, and the company website.
  • Edit and polish the existing content to improve readability
  • Utilize industry best practices and familiarity with the organization’s mission to inspire ideas and content
  • Research industry-related topics and stay up-to- date with recent trends to generate new ideas and draw the audience’s attention.
  • Optimize content according to SEO
  • Analyze content marketing metrics and make changes as needed
  • Support conservation and knowledge management

Requirements

  • English at mother tongue level is mandatory
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills is mandatory
  • Strong knowledge of online content strategy and creation
  • Hands-on writing and editing experience, ability to plan, design, research, write, and edit a range of documents
  • Experience in creating technical product documentation,
  • Experience collaborating with various subject matter experts to collect and interpret technical information
  • Strong understanding of document structure formatting, styling, and template design
  • Experience working independently, as part of a team, and with onsite development teams
  • Must know how to use a variety of writing and publishing programs, such as Microsoft Office, G Suite, WordPress, Weebly, and/or Joomla! preferred
  • Knowledge of ERP Software is an added advantage.
  • Experience in writing scripts for videos will be an added bonus
